About HANK

Hi, I'm HANK, I'm a larger-than-life 84-pound, 2 year old that is happy to have been rescued and brought to Boise. I had great owners in Utah, but they both passed away within 6 months of each other. Family members tried to help me, but were not as nice as my original family. The Utah shelter didn't think that I deserved a second chance, but a friend of my original owners (Marci J) loved me and fought for me. She found a rescue in Boise and even drove me so that I could get a second chance at forever. I'm now in a boarding spa trying to get used to a new routine, new people, and new sounds. Volunteers have learned that I'm smart and listen well. I know several commands like sit, shake, and down. I'm crate-trained and leash-trained. I love going on walks and car rides. I'm might be a little wary of strangers, but I warm up quickly. Here's the best part�'�|.I'm good with other dogs, kids, and birds. I'm looking for a family with a fenced yard.
