About Ozzy

Ozzy (Named by his foster's little boy who plays with him daily) showed up out of nowhere one day and kept handing us his paw. His front leg looked like it had been broken but had healed a long time ago. It was obvious that this dog had been tied outside his entire life and never known love. X-rays seemed to confirm the old break in his leg but but there was a big lump inside it. After attempts to find a concerned owner didn't pan out, we decided to do a biopsy. When the vet cut the leg open, a big tumor just came out. Lab tests showed that it was NOT cancer and Ozzy is now running around like a little pup again. He still gives us his leg to hold and likes it to be rubbed but he's got a 100% clean bill of health and full mobility. This sweet boydoesn't act like a senior dog. He LOVES to run in the yard and would make an excellent walking partner. He's been in foster for a few months and is crate trained and house broken, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Ozzy is HW Neg too. He's starting to develop cataracts but can still see just fine and really just wants someone to love him. He doesn't care about other dogs at all but he thinks cats are for chasing. Ozzy would do best with a fenced yard. The poor old fellow is still pretty confused about being in a new place. He's a quiet boy who doens't make any messes and only weighs 48 pounds. Please help him finally know the love of a family to call his own.
