About Spot

Spot was a stray who was taken into MCACC west. He was chipped and it showed that Spot was at the shelter a year prior & he was adopted so they called the owner. The listed owner said that they gave him away to someone, but that they didn't have their information anymore. Could be the truth or could be that they were afraid that they would be arrested for neglecting their dog. This poor baby is so stinking sweet and didn't deserve any of it. It looks like he went weeks without eating! He is a good 30 pounds underweight. He is great with all people and dogs that he has met so far. We are currently feeding him a high protein diet 6 times a day. He sees our vet 9/17 to get some blood work done and an exam. He is not ready for adoption yet, but hopefully will be really soon. He is not allowed to have a lousy life because he is way too sweet for anyone to treat him bad again. If you are a person who can imagine themself forgetting to feed their dog, give him fresh water every single day, go all day without hugging your dog, and taking him for a walk or playing with him, you need not apply.
