About Cooper

Rottweiler
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Cooper! He is our newest Rotten Rottie! He was purchased from a breeder by a multi-millionaire and he started living the life of Richie Rich; riding around in Leer jets and Mercedes - the best of everything - extremely spoiled by his parents. They even enrolled him in a training program and he had daily visits with his trainer, who tells me that he is very well trained. He knows all of his commands, walks on a treadmill, swims, he's perfect on a leash, he even dabbled in some agility work and this beautiful boy is only 10 months old!! Sound too good to be true? Well, you are partially right. Ya see Cooper has an identity crisis occasionally where he forgets he is a dog and he thinks he is entitled to whatever he desires. Recently he was at doggie daycare with the two other dogs that are also blessed with this life, an older lab and a tiny maltese. Cooper was getting a little crazy with the other dogs in playgroup so the daycare decided that he needed a time out and he was put back in his kennel with his two counterparts, and this upset Cooper greatly. How dare they tell him he wasn't able to play with his friends anymore?! He lost control of his temper and redirected his frustration on the tiny fragile Maltese. It didn't take much and the poor thing was gone. So his owners are devastated of course, and they contacted the trainer to tell her what happened. She has been trying to teach his owners that Cooper needs more than anything else in the world, boundaries, rules, leadership, and discipline. But no matter how many times she tried to explain to them, it wasn't something that they could or would give him. So his trainer told them that Cooper just wasn't a good fit for them. If they didn't give him that, then by the time he was two or three he would be out of control. They agreed and surrender him to their trainer who in turn came to us and asked us for help finding Cooper the perfect home. Cooper is AMAZING with people of both genders and all ages. This is the opportunity you will be kicking yourself for if you don't apply for him. He's a completely professionally trained puppy who comes with his own personal trainer for the rest of his life!
