About Bucky

Helloooo Bucky! Bucky is the total cuteness package, right down to those adorable puppy dog eyes. Bucky is a 9 pound, six month old mixed breed pup. We think he's a perfect blend of Dachshund, Min Pin, and/or Chihuahua. Bucky is a sweet boy who loves all people. He may bark at a stranger or a noise, but he'll seek out love and attention from anyone willing to give it. His favorite spot is perched on a person's shoulders! He loves to be held or to cuddle up on your lap. When he greets you, he showers your feet and ankles with little puppy kisses. Bucky is great with the gentle children in his foster home, and loves to play chase, ball, and tug with them. Because of his size and sometimes feisty play, toddlers and young children are not recommended. He is initially intimidated by most dogs, but he warms up in no time and loves them all! He will play with another dog and would make great playmate for a similar-sized and temperament dog. He doesn't require another dog in the home as long as he has an active family who has the time and energy to play with him and take him for walks. Bucky is cat curious, but when tested in another foster home, he did not chase the cat. He is working on his potty training. He enjoys spending time outside, lying in the grass and exploring, so a fence is required. Bucky is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped with a lifetime registration.
