Intelligent, yet holds it back when he sees you coming...then he just wants attention...'what a hog' his bud Stimpy would say. He can't wait to fixate on you and show you some good old fashion love. He can be dedicated and compassionate..at least to anyone who pays him a lick of attention, which is usually Stimpy. But, before you start asking yourself if he'll be fine without his bud Stimpy...sure...he'd rather checkout everything else going on anyways. And while we don't truly know what all goes on in Ren's head, who really cares when you see those big doe eyes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intake Date: 11 Sep 2020 ----- Age at Intake: 1 yr ----- Breed: Pug/Boston mix ----- Size: 15 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, cats, children----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. Apartment possible with adequate leashed exercise and access to dog park area to exercise in a fenced area off leash. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Does seem to have some separation anxiety in the form of barking initially but it subsides. ----- Additional Notes: This adorable little guy came to FBS due to hisowner moving. He settled in right away though, very social and outgoing and appears to have that pup energy �٪� Has not really been around other animals yet except his buddy Stimpy, who was surrendered with him, but do not predict any issues. Enjoys smelling everything on leashed walks, enjoys playing, and is doing great with our children. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory.
