About Toothless

Toothless is a gorgeous black kitten that is now about 6-7 months old. He was found abandoned in a carrier on a sidewalk in Staten Island with his sister Hiccup. They are shy to start, but who can blame them?? Abandoned, taken to a city shelter, then making the trip out to us in the country, these two have been through a lot in the last few weeks. Toothless is almost identical to his namesake so if you've been dying to train a dragon, this is your boy! Toothless has plenty of playful energy and although he is shy to start he desperately wants to connect with people. He begins by sitting close to a new person, observing them to be sure they are safe. Once he comes over and demands chin scratches, you know you've been chosen and that is the best compliment you can receive! We would love for Hiccup and Toothless to be adopted together, but understand they will have a difficult time finding homes as dark-colored and timid cats, so we will separate them if we must.
