Adoption Fee: $75
Russian Blue / Bengal
Age: Kitten
Sex: Female

Grace Giggles is a beautiful tiny blue gray short hair female approx. 1yr. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vetted and spayed. She is good with nice cats and calm older kids. Dogs? Gracie had a family that abandoned her without food, water or shelter. She made her way to a feral cat feeding station. A feeding station is where feral-wild cats are TNR'd - trapped neutered released and fed. Cats form colonies like this because irresponsible people abandon them, tossing them out like trash. They roam to find food then a loving caring concerned citizen starts feeding these starving cats forming a feeding station. They get TNR'd to prevent kittens, ear tipped so others know that these cats are fixed. The cats 'work' for us taking care of the mice, roof rats, scorpions and roaches, but they must be fixed. The 'wild' ones will survive because they are smart enough to elude predators and sick people. The 'tame' ones need to be taken in, they aren't smart. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT'S A LIFE! Most kitties don't just go into a new home and own it, they need an adjustment period. Patience, love and space will be needed. After her adjustment period Gracie is a playful, spunky, gentle girl that will never scratch you. Mom visits her often and she loves the company. As much as she would love to be out of her room the cats that 'own' the house won't share. She desperately wants to be out and about but at least she is safe. She is still cautious of fast movers and loud noise but is doing extremely well. She does like the calm young boys visiting with her, too. They are gentle and understand she can be startled and will run away. You cannot force her, that will scare her. Actually, you cannot force any cat, period. Gracie is gentle, sweet, silly and super friendly. She has bonded with mom because she visits the most. Dad scares her. Mom can pick her up, hold her and set her in her lap but she doesn't stay long. She loves to rub all over her and is mostly into getting attention and playing. She is really interested in the cats 'behind the door' and would love a kitty friend. Gracie needs a special family to love her and give her the time she needs to adjust. Once she trusts you she will love you like crazy. Watch her video! She loves interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys and the turbo ball. She loves kitty treats, a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with sun rays beaming in. She has been free fed quality hard food (quality meaning the first ingredient begins with meat) and gets up to a can of Fancy Feast morning and night. Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cat's fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, love and an inside home ADOPT Grace Giggles FOR LIFE!
