Hi, my name is LEXXY - ID#A4003361. I am a spayed female, white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Jul 16, 2020. My shelter story began in 2017 when I was just a puppy. Fast forward to today, I am 3 years old and I am here again searching for what I'm hoping will be forever love. I arrived here when I no longer fit into the dynamics of my home. I refuse to dwell on my past and I can only be excited for a better future. My friends will tell you that I am a timid girl when meeting new friends, so I'm asking that you please allow me some time to warm up to you when you come to visit with me in the play yard. I promise, I am worth the time you invest with me. I just know that once I'm in my own home and I've decompressed and adjusted to my new environment, I will shine and my smile will be contagious!
