Youtube Link: Hi, my name is CANNON ID#A4465129. I am a male, neutered, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years old, and I have been at the shelter since september 4, 2020. Sadly I am set to be euthanized Tues. Sept 22 8 am. The reason I'm E-listed is because I did not do good in my dog to dog evaluation. Many dogs do not get along with other dogs...Is this a reason to put me down? NO! Please read further to see what all I need to save my life and please pledge for a Rescue to step up as it is required to get me out of the shelter. I am such a happy wigglebutt!! (see my videos). I am such a tail-waggin', people lovin' little boy! I will smother you with affection. I listen well and know 'sit', and I take treats gently, too. My dog to dog intro was kind of a 'mixed bag'. I had 3 separate evaluations. First one, the other dog growled at me, second one, I went after another dog, third one, I was somewhat tolerant of the other dog in yard. So here's what is best for me: I might be able to be co exist with another dog BUT my foster would HAVE be able to to do 'crate separation' and have a trainer come over and help with dog to dog intro. OR, I could easily be placed in a home with no other dogs. (No idea how I am with cats btw). So please share this post and help me get out of here.
