About Mikki

Adoption Fee: $450
Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Oh Mikki you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Mikki!!! Nikki is in a foster home in the Hamptons and would love her very own furever home!! We rescued this beauty from living outside in a kennel! Mickki's foster mom Laura says: 'Mikki is doing great and feeling more comfortable every day with car noises etc. She normally prefers to sleep on the sofa but she was scared during that lightening storm and she came to sleep with me. She loves her walks and is very easy on the leash. She does get scared fairly easily, like this morning a house broom fell on the floor and made a racket which made her cower a bit. I cuddled her and talked to her to make sure she knew she was safe. She's met some of my friends and is so nice with them and shows her sweetness. She plays in the foamy parts of the waves and loves to roll on the sand and any dirt. I've let her off the lead at the ocean beach a few times. She is interested in people more than the dogs we might run into at the beach. She does come when called and sits on command. She sleeps very well and doesn't have to rush out to pee right away - cuddling is her priority at all times.' . Mikki is 4 years old and 67 lbs. She would love to be your only furry love or another calm dog would be fine. Definitely No Cats. If you're looking for an affectionate, cuddly housetrained dog, Mikki is your girl. To adopt Mikki please submit an application on our website, gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org The adoption fee is $450 which includes age appropriate shots, spay and microchip. We require a fully fenced in yard and not an invisible fence.
