Shilling and Sixpence are a just turned 8 year old bonded sister and brother pair that have lived together since birth. They are bonded and would be placed together in a home that can give this energetic duo plenty of exercise! They need some leash work, but know sit, down, and no. They also seem to be housebroken. Their former owner said they don't care for smaller dogs, especially ones that might be too 'in their face.' They currently are living with a larger hound mix and a Chihuahua/terrier mix and have done well with both of their foster siblings. BUT they'd do best with karger dogs. Shilling loves squeaky toys, and will happily rip one to shreds in her dog bed. Her brother, Six, is more laid back and submissive. Per their prior owner, they have done fine with cats, but in their foster home, they did intensely bark and corner the cat. Homes with cats would likely need to be evaluated on a case by case basis, as any cats would likely need to be larger and 'dog-savvy.' Both terriers are altered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Www.russellrescue.com/adoption
