About Joey

Adoption Fee: $100
Chihuahua
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Little Joey is looking for a quiet retirement home. We are looking for someone who would like to FOSTER to ADOPT. This tiny senior boy is looking for a patient and loving foster. Joey is 10 years young and has got a lot of spunk to him. Joey has a weakness to his hind legs from an old spinal injury but he doesn't let that stop him. He is extremely determined to be mobile and is fully capable of walking. He does sometimes need help being stood up but most of the time he can do that on his own. He wears a male wrap full time because the weakness causes him to tinkle a bit when he walks. He does still need to be brought outside. Joey's ideal home would be one level, have no children and either no dogs or just one small breed low-key dog. Must be retired, work from home or part-time (meaning only up to 4 hours per day) Foster must be able to get Joey to his vet in Trinity. He will need repeat bloodwork in one month and then a dental.
