About Buckley

Buckley was abandoned at the shelter as a 'stray' by people who brought him in on a leash. Buckley was growly and protective and didn't want anyone to touch or approach him. After assessing his in-shelter behavior, we decided he needed a chance to demonstrate what his 'real' personality was since most humans don't behave very well when they're locked up either! In the beginning we had to go slowly with Buckley and earn his trust. Then soon after he came alive during his stay and has shown us he is a big teddy bear!! He loves affection and wants to play! He has a really fun, goofy side and just needed a safe place to show who he really is! We think he will do best in an adult only home with no children or cats. Meet Buckley today!
