Thanks for your cooperation!*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to cover medical bills. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase QuickPay, PayPal, or cash. Max & Ram, beloved father & son. Yet again another extremely sad case out of CA with the sweetest & smartest father & son you have met. The handsome fellows Max (dad) 8 years & Ram (son) 3 years were dropped off at a kill shelter in CA as their owner no longer wanted them & they both were in dire need of being rescued & had no one coming for them to save them. Max & Ram were kept in an apartment & had a fenced area with a 4 ft fence which both boys could easily jump & did keep getting out & jumping. There was also a gate with a latch & both boys could easily open the gate. The family who surrendered the boys to the shelter did have small children in the home & said they did well with their children. Max & his beloved son Ram were bought back to WA state from CA where they now can't wait to find their beloved loving forever home together. Max & Ram are the sweetest loving dogs you have ever met. Not to mention 2 of the smartest Saint Bernards our beloved rescue has ever encountered. Max & Ram did find a home but unfortunately in their new forever home they became protective of their family members we believe. So they came back into the rescue. Since being in the rescue again we have had them around countless people & they have done amazing. They are their usual loving selves, big teddy bears. Ram is a jumper, he will jump at you for you to give him love & Max the dad will listen more to what you have to say. They do enjoy going outside & enjoying the outdoors so a fully fenced backyard is a must for this loving father & son. This father & son have loved everyone that have met, even including being at our vets while receiving their dentals. The boys are extremely bonded & love each other & do rely on each other. But that being said they do enjoy the company of other dogs & playing with them & have not met a dog they have not liked. The boys adore people & do want you to give them love & to be with you. The boys require a fully fenced backyard with a locked gate & would not do well in an apartment or a low fence. They love to eat & require a lot of food & have done really well when being walked but are very strong boys & would need continued work on their leashes. Max is more laid back & Ram is more high energy than his beloved dad. Did we mention the boys really enjoy a good car ride, well they certainly do & we have had them in the car for car rides countless times. Max & Ram have been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & they are currently with other dogs & love other dogs & must go to a forever home together & we will not separate this bonded father & son. Max, (dad), Saint Bernard, 124 lbs, Ram, (son), Saint Bernard, 144 lbs, both up to date on shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, and rabies, microchipped, heart worm negative, both just had full dentals with scales & polishes, Max also had blood work done, was treated for an ear infection & both are dewormed. Max & Ram have not been around cats since being in the rescue so we do not recommend cats but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had them around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We also do not recommend any birds or goats in their new home. We were not there when Max & Ram were conceived so we do not know who their parents were & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think their breed is. As with all of our rescues & Max & Ram's friends they will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Max & Ram potty trained.
