About Spike

Spike is a spunky 3-year-old boy who loves to run and play! He's a healthy boy whose owners dumped him at the shelter for being too active. Of course they didn't give him any walks or exercise, so the poor dude needed to burn off steam! We rescued Spike from the shelter and he was SO SO happy! We took him home, gave him a bath, and took him to our trainer for evaluation. Spike is house trained, crate trained, and friendly with both people and dogs. He would love a big backyard to play in and a walk or two in the neighborhood. He will pay you back by kissing your face and sitting in your lap! Spike would do well with kids middle school-aged and above, since he could knock over the little kiddos. If you have other dogs and want to adopt Spike, our trainer (who loves him) will help with dog intros at her facility. As soon as you meet this goofball, you'll fall in love just like we did!
