Thanks for your cooperation!*** WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to cover medical bills. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase QuickPay, PayPal, or cash. *** WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON A HOME FOR FIONA & NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE APPLICATIONS FOR THIS LADY *** The horrors of what these beautiful souls go through is soul destroying just as Fiona's story of the beginning of her life was. Poor sweet & oh so stunning Fiona ended up in a death camp of a kill shelter in Korea along with her 2 tiny babies. How they ended up there we will never know? But thank goodness the wonderful Korean rescue went in & saved gentle Fiona & her 2 sweet little babies. As the story goes so often, the babies were adopted in Korea & mum is left behind. We believe in leaving no one behind so now it's Fiona's turn to find the very best home who will give her the very best home. Fiona was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Fiona was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can't wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Beautiful & so stunning Fiona is such a lovely little lady inside & out. She is a little timid at first but once she knows you she is good. She lets you give her love & cuddle her & she just wants to be loved as she should be. Fiona was fostered with other dogs & had a lovely full fenced backyard to take in all the sites & sounds in around her. Every time we look at this little lady our hearts hurt for her past but, she is the sweetest little lady & is so lovely considering her past. Fiona does enjoy being held & given love once she knows you. When we first got her she was shy but has improved so much. Fiona wants to just be with you & be your everything. She does need to go to a forever home with other dogs, she has always been with other dogs & finds comfort with them. Fiona has also done very well with her baths each time we have bathed her. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Fiona & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. Fiona's new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. Fiona rides well in the car & enjoys a good journey & walks well on her harness & leash considering she has only been taught to. We are looking for a forever home with Fiona where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Fiona is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved. Fiona has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & does well. Fiona needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with other dogs. This is mandatory. Fiona is roughly 13.2 lbs, 3 years old & perhaps a Pomeranian/spitz mix, female, she is spayed, microchipped, just had a dental & polish, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed & tested for heart worm & is heart worm negative. We have spent far more on Fiona with bringing her to the US, getting her, her medical, dental, meds, shots etc & bringing her back to WA than her adoption fee covers. Fiona has been around cats since being in the rescue, but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Fiona was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Fiona's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to.
