About Bosley

Say hello to Bosley! Bosley is a sweet, loyal, and sensitive guy who loves his morning walk, and relaxing in a warm cozy spot. Bosley is a pug/boston mix who was rescued from the shelter after he was brought in as a stray.�%A0 He's somewhere around 7-8 years old, weighs around 30lbs, and has some special needs.�%A0 He is looking for child-free forever home. Typical of his breed mix, he loves his people and a good snuggle.�%A0 Bosley gets along well with other dogs at home, but would prefer a home without small kids. True to his breed, Bosley loves a walk in the morning and then curling up for a long nap with lots of snores.�%A0 He prefers sticking to a routine each day and snuggling up in the evening, and very much wants to keep his people close at home.�%A0 Bosley recently attended intensive training for high reactivity and separation anxiety.�%A0 He has made real progress, but will need a patient owner who will continue working with him on these issues.�%A0 He is a bit hard of hearing and may have some cognitive special needs.�%A0 He can be overwhelmed by loud noises or quick movements.�%A0�%A0�%A0 Bosley has been in training to overcome reactive behavior and separation anxiety.�%A0 He's had great success overcoming leash aggression to become an attentive companion on walks around the neighborhood. Bosley is looking for someone who will continue his training so he can be his best self in the house as well.�%A0 He will need an owner with the patience to help teach this older dog some new tricks. Bosley has also recently started medication to treat his anxiety, which appears to be helping although it is not clear if this will be a temporary or permanent treatment.�%A0 He is also being treated for skin allergies.
