About Mini

THIS IS A COURTESY POST FOR A FRIEND WHO HAD MINI DUMPED ON THEM RATHER THAN ALLOW HER TO BE TAKEN TO A SHELTER. Hello, adoring fans. My name is Mini. Sort of a funny name for a 109lb girl (don't judge, I'm on a diet) but you see, once upon a time I had a brother named Mickey. But he went on to b a PTSD dog for a veteran while I went on to be a fabulous house pet. My owners were medically retired veterans and when they moved from their country home on acreage to a home with no fence on a golf course, well, I was miserable. See, I need a home with a secure yard (I like to push my way through gates) and their new home even had stairs that I'd have to go up and down all of the time. I'm not a young girl - they told my foster mom that I'm 10, but she and her vet don't think that can be possible. They think I'm closer to 7. But I'm not telling, because a lady never discusses her age. So stairs and strenuous activities like running/hiking/fetch/guarding are all behind me now. I'm a low maintenance lady who just wants to be near you in the house. If you want to sit on the front porch, I'll sit with you for hours and never leave your side. (Just don't leave me out there alone. I'll chew my way back into the house) Want a TV watching companion? I'm your gal! If your family makes fun of your cooking, you need me. I'll make you feel like a Michelin rated chef because I'll love everything you feed me. I've learned that carrots and green beans not only help me lose a bit of weight, but they're yummy! Speaking of things I love - I love kitties! And kitties love me! Where I'm staying there's a 5lb cat and a Munchkin and a 19 year old cat and I love all of them! The Munchkin likes to fall asleep on me but is apparently ashamed of our love because every time the human tries to take a picture, he runs away. I also love dogs. As long as they're nice - no aggressive or hyper puppies for me, please. I also love kids of all ages and will let them pet me and snuggle me and kiss my nose. Just not sit on me or 'ride' me. I may be a big girl, but I'm not a pony. (I am good with ponies, too. And chickens and goats and cows). So in short, I need a mellow home with no stairs, a secure yard, and to be indoors. I'm not an outside dog and haven't destroyed a single thing where I'm staying so I'm safe on free roam. I've not had any accidents, either. But will need regular trips outside or a doggy door because I've always had access to the yard when I need it. Please have someone home with me most of the time. I really, really, really like people. And I LOVE going for rides! I'll jump in the car even if you're just unloading groceries. Please fill out an application if you think you'd like to be my retirement home and spoil me like I deserve.
