Curly is in need of a home immediately. He was a surrender to the Houston animal control over a month ago. I fostered him and eventually adopted him a month ago because he was so loving and gentle with me and my 8lb rescue dog I've had for 6 years. He's started showing signs of dog aggression towards other dogs outside the home but loves all people. He attacked a dog viscously yesterday at my apartments and I ended up with bites to my hands that needed surgical glue (bites were from other dog trying to get Curly off him.) the other dog had minor injuries but this is the second time in a month he's attacked and I'm unable to get him away from the other dog. I'm very fearful of walking him now and know he deserves a home with more space and land for him to release all his energy so that he's not aggressive and is happy. I want the best for him, even though this is incredibly hard. I do not want the other owner from yesterday to end up calling animal control because he threatened to. Please reach out if you'd like to be Curly's new home. He will be loyal and loving to you and your family. He loves cuddling and playing with yellow tennis balls! He's in good health and is current on all vaccinations.
