About Powers

Initially shy in new situations, Powers warms up with some time and positive attention. Then he's 42 fit and fine pounds of friendliness and sweetness whose favorite activities are being cuddled and petted, lying on his fosters' lap or next to them on the couch and sunbathing in the backyard. While he hasn't yet shown any interest in toys, bones or fetch, he's treat motivated, seldom barks, responds quite well to 'come' and 'sit, and is slowly getting more comfortable on longer walks, taking it paw step by paw step to build up his confidence. He gets along with other friendly dogs, tolerates being bathed and is fully housetrained. With so much to learn and so much to give, Powers is best suited to a home with a securely fenced backyard and loving adopters who will work patiently on boosting his self esteem, completing his education and polishing him into the most paw-fect Powers he can be.
