Howdy! The name is Ringo, and like Ringo Starr, I'm a heartthrob as well as an affectionate, very sociable, snugly, playful, and trusting slate-gray and white tuxedo DSH fella with big jade-green eyes who was born in September 2018. I have an adorable beauty mark inside a white dot on my chin and am handsomely marked with a white bib, mittens, boots, as well as tummy. I crave human companionship, so I happily snuggle at nap time with my foster meowmy. My favorite part of the day is when I'm petted and brushed -- even on my cute white tummy, which many kitties don't allow. This tummy-tolerance shows how very calm and trusting I am. But I'm no old couch potato! No sirree! I love to chase string as well as jump at and pounce on feather toys. As aggressive as I might get with interactive toys, I always politely keep my claws sheathed when I swat. I love to race around my foster room and then jump from bed to dresser to windowsill. I admit that I'm a little frustrated in being confined to one room because I'm active like a young dude should be! I'm in a room alone simply because the resident cat doesn't like other cats, and there are no kids or dogs in my foster home. My future foster meowmy noticed me in an apartment complex as I was scrounging for food along with a colony of community cats, with whom I seemed to get along but from whom I usually kept separate. At first I was a little wary of my rescuer but quickly warmed up and allowed her to bring me inside to safety. Ah! Steady groceries -- what a relief! I adjusted to indoor life so quickly, including tidily and faithfully using my litter box, that Foster Meowmy is convinced that I was someone's pet who escaped or was abandoned. No worries!
