Tucker is approximately 5 years old And 35 pounds. Tucker has heart worm disease. He also has a significant heart murmur He has been on the 'slow kill' method for his heartworms. He is a happy boy and is doing fine. Since at the rescue, I have found that he does better with smaller dogs and calm dogs. He is still a bit stand-offish so he would do best with a patient owner. He just needs some one on one attention. He has been waiting for over a year to find his perfect home. Adoption donation is negotiable to the right home. IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU WOULD NEED TO READ BELOW. Please understand, our dogs are shelter dogs. We do not know how or why they ended up in the shelter. We have very little, if any, information on their prior training and behavior. Please be prepared and committed to train/retrain, your newly adopted pet. Please tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city in which you live, other pets in your home and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you - the better. What can this companion expect from you and what are your expectations of him/her. There is a placement fee to offset care and medical. Please allow a few days- as I review inquiries. Tell me why you should be on the top of the list of potential families. WE ARE LOCATED IN HOLLYWOOD, SC If you are not local to our area, we can recommend a transport company. This company is not affiliated with the rescue and they do charge an additional fee.
