About Oso

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ANSWERED IF THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR OSO ARE NOT MET. Oso was extremely popular when listed earlier, but the right home for him has not materialized. He has two main requirements that we will not budge on: a fenced yard to run in AND another doggie friend in the house that is his age/size and play style. Please read the rest of the bio for more information. 1 year old male Maltese/Chihuahua mix, about 5 pounds. Oso is a sweet, shy boy who is very cuddly and loving. He does great with dogs of all sizes, but he has never met a cat. He is quiet but will alert bark at times. Unlike other hyper and jumpy puppies, Oso is gentle and just loves to be pet all day. He loves his crate, and stays in it calmly and quietly throughout the night. Although he is a Maltese mix, he does shed. He would prefer a home with dogs his size and kids over age 13. What a good boy! Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
