About Amigo

Welcome Amigo to CCPAL Rescue. He is a beautiful 90 lb. boy. He has a large head and we think he is a Mastiff mixed dog. He is mellow nice mannered. He has the look that will deter people in your home or yard. He is a relatively quiet boy at the rescue and despite his appearance he was a little afraid when we were taking his photos. The shelter can be a scary place for a dog who has had a home. His family had hard times hit and they had no choice but to surrender both their dogs. Amigo has been around kiddos successfully in his previous home. We always like them to be 7 or older. He has lived with another dog named Freckles. He is decent on a leash but has not walked often on one. His previous home was a country setting so he is used to a yard and space. I think an active family would be best and a man that is kind and dominant. His best home would be with a family who have owned a big breed dog before. He likes men naturally. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with the wonderful transporters to deliver him to Washington, Portland, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 185.
