About Petey

I received a call from a friend who inform me about a situation where there are 10 dogs living in one room apartment and never gets to go outside for anything. A hoarder situation going on with this elderly lady. Petey is the smallest one out of the 10 from the elder lady apartment. I was told he constantly being pick on and most of the time does not get anything to eat. He is not fast enough to fight off all his other brother and sister. When I pick him up, I was so sad when I look at him holding him in my arms. Petey love to be in the center of attention since he never got any attention before. Petey is still have a lot of puppy in him. He loves to run play with his toy, playing with his brother rolling around in the yard, chasing after a leave or squirrel. Since Petey have never been allowed to go outside from his previous family, he must be thought how to be a dog. He learns to go outside when he needs to take care of business, playing under the sun playing with toys and being as a part of a family. Everything we are giving to Petey now is new to him. It is really a sad situation since he never really allows to be a puppy living in that apartment. Petey is learning to be a family pet. Petey is being teach how to walk on a leash.
