Bonded Pair Adoption My name is Cooper and I am a 12yr old yellow male Labrador retriever mix Dog. I started out my life as a puppy in Minnesota when my mom and dad took me home. I lived at home with a whole family until they all grew and then it was just our mom and dad and my new friend Bailey the German Shepherd. We were allowed on the furniture, we had a fenced yard and loved life, Dad really took care of us but then he passed away. Mom had some medical issues and then fell and hurt herself and sadly the family thought it best she goes into assisted living. We were brought to a kennel we would visit for spa days and vacation until the family could decide what t do with us as they could not take us in themselves. We never saw mommy again and she doesn't know what happened to us as far as we know. I am a senior pup with a very laid back personality and a big attention seeker, I love my scratches and attention that's for sure. I really do not go up on the furniture, I have short spurts of play and have my favorite toy the pink alligator. I do have a grade 1 heart murmur which is nothing at my age in the dog world and doesn't mean I don't deserve love. I am not as dependent on Bailey as she is on me and if it needs to be done we may need to be separated in order to get us both into new homes but Bailey will be devastated. My sister Bailey and I need a home with preteen or older children, we are big dogs and clumsy with our size. We would really appreciate a fenced yard only so that Bailey can play with her ball but not a requirement. We also know the excitement of finding a pet that could be your furever family member and we receive numerous inquiries from other families who feel the same way. **Our primary goal is matching the perfect family with our pups and do not practice first come, first serve**. Do not be offended if your not the right fit we can work with you or recommend another rescue.** We are setting up many meet and greets with our pups and the family could be found prior to you even getting to meet them. We will make sure all potential adopters who inquired are updated if the pup has been adopted.
