About Luna

Seeking a loving home. We are looking to rehome our sweet girl, Luna. She just turned 1 year old, is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on her shots. She's a beautiful black domestic shorthair cat, with a small tuft of white fur on her chest. She's fully housebroken and litter box trained, and she's never had an accident in the house. She's playful - loves to chase toys, play with wands and ribbon toys, and loves to run, jump and explore. It's a very difficult decision for us to be seeking a new home for her, but we want her to have her best life and ensure she has access to everything she needs and wants. We have 4 other rescue cats, and as our family has grown, we have found she's not as content. She needs a home where she can be indoor/outdoor - and have time to explore outside. All of our other kitties are indoor only, and one is special needs and can't go outside, so it's too difficult to only let her out to explore and keep the others cooped up. Luna would be best in a home with just herself or one other cat - she seems less engaged with a bigger group. She gets along well with our other cats, but like all kitties, takes time to warm up to them. She was born with a litter that was indoor/outdoor, so we really think allowing her to get outside would make her happiest. She loves food - and currently eats a mix of Friskies and Iams dry food. She can sometimes eat fast, so she's best with smaller meals throughout the day vs. free-feeding. As a treat, we sometimes give her Iams wet food and occasionally, some unsalted canned tuna. She also loves temptations treats!
