About Petra

Petra can be the most loving, affectionate cat, if she had only humans in her home. She has not been around children, but she IS aggressive towards other cats, and it wouldn't be recommended unless the child has experience with anxious/fearful cats. She will take some time to adjust to a new home, but without other cats around, and preferably not a dog, she is Velcro to the lap. She needs a home because the change in behavior was sudden, and the other animals in the house were being attacked. She is amazingly smart, loves to chase 'fling' toys and do backflips off your lap. She will be your constant companion once she warms up to you. Petra is extremely vocal, and that is part of her appeal. She almost seemingly 'talks' to you. There is usually no question of what she wants, as she will lead you to it. Petra is looking for a home where she will be loved as the only cat. Someone who is familiar with anxiety in cats would be a best fit. We have her on her own floor of the house at this time, but it is not a sustainable situation.
