About Wilbert

Re-homing my McNab and willing to provide transport anywhere in the U.S. to place him in his forever home. Please read below and reply to the post if you or someone you know may be interested. Breaks my heart to post this but I have decided to re-home my McNab pup Wilbert aka Bertie. I've had Bertie for almost 3 years - he moved with me from Oakland, California to Chicago, Illinois. Given the change in my living situation and some training needs, I am no longer able to provide Bertie what he needs - a large home or fenced in yard and space to run around + time training him on the leash. Indoors he's a sweetie pie and will sleep and stare at you all day or play with his toys. Outdoors he can be a lot to handle because of his natural prey-drive. He has the most human gaze ever and you will love him as much as I do. He is neutered, microchipped, healthy and current on all vaccines. Here's what Bertie has to say for himself ��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD��%BD%BD| 'Hi I'm Bertie! I am between 4 and 5 years old, weigh 45 pounds, and I keep up with the best of them! I am curious and have lots of energy for ball but I also have my sweet moments of downtime and cuddling. I get along really well with other dogs, children and strangers, but I have high prey drive and do not get along well whatsoever with cats, squirrels, bunnies, or other little critters. There can be no other cats in my home. I am housetrained and obedient! However, I like to get into all the food so I can't have any food near me or I will eat it! I am very trainable and I love to go on long walks, runs, play at the dog park with other dogs, and my ball and pet tiger most of all! My mom says I am a lot to handle on the leash so I will need I someone who can train and control me on the leash. I need a lot of freedom whether it be in a big yard or a farm! Look how handsome I am!'
