About Chewy

This sweet 14 yr old boy was recently surrendered to a Baltimore shelter. Although I was there to pick up another senior pup, I wasn't going to leave this little boy behind. Going by his coat, Chewy is either a shih-tzu mix or a malti-poo that currently weighs 16 pounds. The first thing we did was groom his priority areas. His face, rear & paws. He will require regular grooming in the future. Chewy received his vaccines at the shelter. He has some arthritis in his hind legs, a possible ear infection & severe dental disease. He is scheduled at our vet on October 1st to be neutered, have senior bloodwork done, a dental & his ears cleaned/flushed. Chewy has done great with the other dogs & cats in rescue. Due to his age & arthritis, I do not recommend living with small children. He is a sweet little boy that loves attention. He is still active for his age & loves going on walks. Chewy is available for adoption now as long as his adopter can commit to his appointment on Oct 1st at our vet in Reisterstown Maryland. Humphrey House is located in Baltimore Md and we meet adopters by appointment. Our suggested donation for senior pets is $100.
