This post is going out with a prayer that the one special person will be seeing this to save Baby's life ! What a beautiful boy he is and the shelter took a horrible picture of him . Below is his shelter notes, When Baby first arrived at the kill shelter was very scared and was showing some behaviors . However as the days went by he got better and was able to come out into the yard . Please watch the videos of baby says a 1,000 words a picture can't . This is not an aggressive dog and does not deserve to die this Saturday ! Gets along with other dogs came in with a few . If you can foster or adopt this angel please text or call Kat 516 457-3678. Texting during the day is best though. Fostering will save this sweet angels life and the rescue will pay all medical expenses . Shelter notes Timestamped for Saturday 9/12at 5:30. Available for rescue only. Please email [email protected] if your rescue can help. Baby ACCT-A-74207 Dog - Mixed Breed (Large) Sex : Male Age : 3Y Weight : 70.00 lbs Location: Large Dog Kennel, B4 Baby ACCT-A-74207 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to medical and behavioral concerns. Baby must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER by Saturday, September 12th, 5:30 PM. Should Baby's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. As soon as these dogs come they try to do an exam on a very scared dog makes no sense to me and counts that against them . These shelters are the worse ! Difference between scared and aggressive . No bite history !! Baby urgently needs to leave because he has presented with suspected chronic orthopedic disease and has been displaying behavior that does not allow for full examination of this medical concern. He requires further testing related to his medical condition. Any rescue that pulls will need to be well versed in behavior management and modification given his largely unknown history. Confirmed placement is considered confirmation of an actual rescue pull. Possible placement, interested parties, and other 'TBD' statuses are not considered confirmed and do not indicate an animal is no longer urgent. If you are an adopter interested in this pet you must connect with a rescue partner willing to pull on your behalf.
