About Max

Look at those eyes and that face- do you really need words when his face says so much? Max does have a story to tell, one of those really good stories of adventure, love, trials, heartbreak, and hope. Max is a Hurricane Micheal rescue. He was very depressed and had severe separation anxiety. It took some time but he is well adjusted. Anyone wanting to make this handsome man part of their family will need a fenced yard. Max is house trained. Loves to be near his people. He does well in an office setting, going for rides, runs, or relaxing on the couch. Knows all basic commands. He lost his owner during the storm and he spent most of a year looking out windows and getting out and searching. Trucks held his attention as well. He can not be created. He does not do well locked in small spaces. He is fine left to roam in the house, yard, or office for long periods of time without any destruction, or anxiety. He is a super sweet, mellow, devoted dog. He needs a home with another dog. If your looking for a dog that will watch the house for 6-10 hours everyday while your at work Max is not the guy for you. If you are home a lot or looking for a riding partner then you couldn't find a better companion.
