About Duke

Hello my name is Duke I found myself in a kill shelter after I was wandering the street. I was down to my last day and nobody wanted me and my rescue people stepped up to take me into rescue and save my life. I am three years old, neutered. UTD in shots, microchipped but I am heart worm positive. I can not go through my treatment until I'm either adopted or in a foster home because boarding is too stressful for me when I need to remain calm and relaxed after treatment. My rescue said someone can even foster to adopt me. Of course they will continue to pay for my medical bills until I test negative. I'm such a good boy and know some commands and very loving. I am dog, kid and people friendly but not sure about cats since my rescue doesn't know if I've seen one or not. I walk good on a leash and don't make a mess in my kennel so my rescue thinks I've been in a home at some point because I like to wait until I am taken out of my kennel to potty. I wish I could talk to tell you my story but I'm just really grateful to be given a second change and hope someone likes me and will take me home with them.
