About Helga

Helga Hufflepuff is one of the shelter animals who very rarely makes it out the front door. She came into the shelter growling and showing teeth. Because of her breed and her size, medical staff would not intake her. It seemed her fate was sealed, after her stray hold was up she would surely be euthanized. She isn't one that would be shared by everyone and rescues lining up to save her, no pledges or sponsors, she is one that is most of the time failed by humans. Luckily for Helga one staff member decided to give her a chance and reached out to us, we are one of the few rescues that will take a chance and at least try. Helga has completely transformed here. She is the sweetest dog and loves everyone. She is 3 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention. Her adoption fee is $150. Applications can be submitted at warsc.net. Email inquiries are not considered. No meet and greets are scheduled without an approved app. Due to high volume of apps, you will only be contacted if your application is approved. WE DO NOT TRANSPORT, SHIP, OR TRANSFER TO OTHER RESCUES, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TO UPSTATE SC, WE DO NOT HOLD LONGER THAN THE FIRST WEEKEND AFTER YOUR APP IS APPROVED NO EXCEPTIONS.
