About Joey

Joey is a great dog. I love this dog with all my heart but he's unpredictable with children. After biting my 3yo with no warning I can't trust him in my home. I want him to live happy and be loved and cuddled and cherished. He started life abused and I've worked/loved/cherished with him for 12 years. He needs a single person home with VERY submissive dogs or no dogs. Cats are okay if they are easy going with dogs any signs of a fight and he goes after them. No children please. He likes to eat alone. He's 90% potty trained, but any bad weather and he'll go in the house. He's a mess, but a big cuddle bug. I don't want to talk him down, he loves playing fetch, though he won't bring you the ball back. He's slowing down, so he doesn't need a lot of exercise. He loves treats. He does very well just being left alone, or cuddling and relaxing. Any signs of anger scare him into hiding. Very scared of adult men.
