About Hank

Hank is an adorable, 2 year old Saint Bernard. He is not your typical, lazy Saint Bernard yet. He is still young and very active. Rain or shine, he is ALWAYS up for an adventure! Hank will do well with an active owner who works from home. He will be an awesome companion for outings (hiking, exploring, etc.) He IS crate trained, but requires MANY opportunities to run and burn off his deep reserves of energy. A 5 ft or higher PHYSICAL FENCE IS A MUST. Giant breed experience is required. He needs to be the only animal in the home. A meet and greet at Hank's foster home is requires. Children 10 and up only unless the child has giant breed experience. He loves car rides & learning new things. He needs someone who will commit to continuing his socialize & slowly introduce Hank to new experiences so he can confidently grow into adulthood. He is one SMART pup! He already knows several basic commands such as sit, wait, give paw, lie down, clean paws when coming inside. However, he is still working on his leash walking skills & needs and owner who is willing to continue his training. Most of all, Hank wants to be with his people. He is SUCH a sweet, active happy guy who wants to please, loves belly rubs, snuggles, and running, playing. Give him some time to learn to trust you, and he will be your best buddy. He's neutered and UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Hank is being fostered in the Atlanta area. He can be adopted out fo state, but adopters must be willing to drive to pick him up.
