Mattie is a 2-year-old, medium-sized (45lbs) Shepherd mix girl. She is very people-oriented and adores her humans. Once she expends her energy playing fetch or frisbee, she happily joins you on the couch for cuddles, kisses, and for relaxation. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her as she loves to run zoomies and chase toys. Mattie loves to play with dogs of any size, and similar sized dogs who enjoy roughhousing would be a good match for her. Mattie, however, is unsure of young children and cats so an adult family would be best. She is very smart, will sit for treats, and is learning 'off'. She is doing well with her house training, and will go outside as long as you recognize her signals and can tend to her potty schedule. She is still a puppy at heart, and some basic obedience training would be fantastic to help her in her next chapter in life. She sleeps well in a crate, and would really welcome snuggling with you on the bed. Mattie loves car rides too. She is a fun and playful girl, with lots of energy and LOVE to give.
