About Diogi

Diogi is approximately 3 years old. She has been with a foster for a little over a year & prior to that boarded. Owner was anxious & unable to provide the needed exercise & leadership so Diogi started exhibiting aggressive behaviors. Never towards people just towards herself. She would chase her tail while growling & barking at it. ( she never got it or harmed it) Diogi is not the dog for a 1st time owner of the breed or someone that does not have the time to exercise her & work with her. She can also be very intimidating when she goes after her tail but if the adopter is willing to provide exercise & is able to redirect & work with Diogi they will find she is a wonderful dog. (She loves walks & runs) In her current foster home the above behavior rarely happens now, however, it is important to disclose that if the exercise and mental work does not occur these behaviors can come back. Diogi may be OK with children, however, it is not being recommended she be place with small children. Possibly older children. Home visit & references required.
