Fred & George are about 7 weeks old and are recovering from a very rough start. They were rescued from the Miami shelter with severe upper respiratory and eye infections, but after a week of medication they are feeling much much better! They have tested positive for Feline calicivirus, which will need to be monitored throughout their life, but is very manageable. It is very common, and means that they are likely to have colds or tongue ulcers sporadically throughout their lives. For more information please see: https://www.sheltermedicine.com/library/resources/?r=feline-calicivirus-virulent-systemic-feline-calicivirus-vs-fcv Follow them on IG @nopawleftbehind and #nopawfosters We would love to find them a home together, since they have survived together and are very bonded. They are not ready quite yet, but we will begin accepting applications now! We estimate they will be ready in mid to late September. Apply: https://www.nopawleftbehind.org/adoption-app-and-policies
