TO BE KILLED Cassidy is only a baby ! This post is going out with a prayer that the right special person is viewing this right now to save sweet Cassidy !! ADOPTED FROM THE ACC, FOUND TIED OUTSIDE ! 9 month old pup Cassidy found himself once again in the ACC, a place he always was scared of. He is a young pup who needs to feel secure and loved, so he can learn to trust, as well as guidance and discipline, so he can grow into a great dog. Right now, the ACC is saying he is defensive and fearful, excitable and mouthy. We are scared for this young boy's life. He just needs a loving experienced human who can guide him and teach him that humans are there to help him. Please share Cassidy for a home to help him! PET PROFILE Date of intake: 10-Aug-2020 Spay/Neuter status: Yes From his previous stay from months ago before he was adopted and abandon ..Other Notes: 6/3/20: Previous stay at care center, stray: Cassidy was brought in by the police in a crate and was barking, growling, snapping, and slamming against the sides of the crate. Sedation was needed to remove him from the crate. SAFER ASSESSMENT: Date of assessment: 17-Aug-2020 BEHAVIOR: Summary: Cassidy has displayed the potential to to rapidly escalate to aggression at the care center, lunging, barking, and growling in certain situations. Due to this behavior, he is not a good candidate for a handling assessment. Poor Cassidy is so fearful here , just needs time to decompress and know he is safe ! DOG-DOG: FUN FACTS: INTAKE BEHAVIOR: MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Date of initial: 10-Aug-2020 Summary: Growled, bared teeth ENERGY LEVEL: At the care center, Cassidy displays a high level of activity. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm.
