About Mink Mink

Mink Mink was rescued when she was approx 3 mos old. She was socialized over the next month and vetted. Slowly after vetting, she started to hide from her humans. She is now approx 2 yrs old and we feel she needs a new environment. A smaller home with minimal places to hide, with 1-2 humans, no small kids, and either will be an only cat or one other cat. She is friendly with other cats, but in a rescue home, she has too many other cats to bond with vs humans. She needs someone who is patient and understanding. Occasionally she will sit on the couch with us albeit on the other side and she occasionally will sleep on the footboard of our bed. We have to chase her to put her in a carrier and she will typically hiss and growl if she senses she will be picked up. Rarely will she allow petting. She tends to gravitate toward one cat in the home that purrs loudly. So having one friendly, loud purring kitty may help. She is a gorgeous seal point with striking blue eyes. The adoption fee will be given to the rescue where I volunteer.
