About Roxie

SENIOR COUPLE DESPERATELY NEED TO REHOME SWEET ROXIE! Due to medical reasons, this senior couple is looking for a home for Roxie. They want to avoid her going to the shelter but this is where they will be forced to take her soon if they cannot find a loving home for her. Roxie was born 11/20/2018, so she will be two years old on November 20th. She has not been spayed although the owners had planned on doing this when COVID19 ensued. She is a black labrador/rottweiler mix and still has a lot of puppy personality. Roxie is primarily black with some brown markings. She weighs about 70 pounds. Overall, she is very loving, playful, desires attention, and has never been aggressive around others and interaction with children has been positive. Roxie has had professional training at Top Dogg K9 Training in Snellville. A great group that works in training dogs in general, yet primarily training service dogs for veterans. She was compliant with all the expected obedience commands and surely recognized the trainers as 'alpha.' She is strong-willed and without the love and attention of her current family, she will need someone to help her refocus on what she has previously learned. She just needs a more active and better lifestyle than her current owners can provide for her. Roxie currently lives in the Snellville area.
