About Nola

Nola is a 10 ,month old female adopted from the Humane society last January. She is spayed ,chipped, up to date on vaccinations and of course house broken. She does not chew furniture and is kennel trained. She was supposed to be a Great Dane mix but DNA test shows a nearly pure mix of Catahoula Leapard & Mouintain Cur with a small amount of Fox Terrier. She is currently approximately 45 lbs. She is adorable which is why I did not post a photo. I would prefer someone who knows the breed take an interest before I send along a photo. Nola was brought by truck from Louisiana to Michigan which explains her pedigree & name +. She is very active and needs to be walked daily. She is also very attentive and an excellent watch dog. She will need a large fenced yard and would be ideal for someone with a farm, herding animals or or a hunter. She gets along OK with our cat but is having trouble getting along with our Great Dane puppy. She would be best in a home without young children or other dogs. That said she is very loving, loyal and has just completed obedience training. She walks on leash extremely well, sits, stays and lays down without verbal commands and is a joy to take shopping or walking through town!
