About Trixie

Trixie is a pretty Australian Kelpie mix. She is approximately 2 yrs old and weighs about 40 lbs. Trixie loves to hike and play ball and fetch. She looks like the kind of dog that would do great at frisbee games. When Trixie first came to us it was obvious she had little training. So, Trixie is currently being taken to formal training classes by a volunteer and is learning to walk well on a leash and to be a bit calmer when she meets other dogs on her walks. She does play well with Buster (another one of our adoptable dogs) so would probably be fine with a calm, neutral male dog in her new home. We don't know how cats and no apartments or condos for this dog. She does require a secure fenced yard.
