About Mimi

Mimi is a sweet red tick Beagle mix that was rescued along with her six small pups. All were dumped out in the woods near a local school and left to fend for themselves. It took some cajoling and ingenuity to rescue this clever shy girl. We really couldn't blame Mimi for her lack of trust. How was she to know we were there to help? But patience and hotdogs soon won her over and now Mimi is safely in our care. This little momma is estimated to be about three years old and is medium in size. Mimi is learning to trust and is reserved when you first meet her. She likes to take a moment or two to sniff you out. After all, she is a beagle and the nose always knows! Mimi is a sweet calm pup that is devoted, loving and gentle if given a moment. She is an easy going dog that would love to keep you company as you go about your day. Mimi is good with children but prefers them to be older. She needs a quiet calm household without a lot of hustle and bustle. This sweet girl is a joy to be around and really no trouble. She entertains herself quite nicely and is appreciative of any attention she receives. Mimi may need some fine tuning on house skills but does keep a clean kennel. She enjoys spending time outside in the sunshine to run around and roll in the grass. Mimi will need a fenced in backyard to keep her safe from wandering. She wouldn't mind sharing her home with another dog as long as they are well behaved. This special little lady deserves a wonderful home with a family of her own.
