About Cruz

Cruz is a fun loving 5 1/2 year old hound mix. He loves to run and explore the outdoors. He has never met a human he hasn't fallen in love with. As for dogs, that is another story, and the reason we need to look for a new home for him. Cruz wants to be the alpha, so any smaller dog that can not defend itself would not be a good fit. We have 2 other dogs, a female lab (Luna) and a lab/cocker spaniel mix (Max). Luna and Cruz get along fine, but there has been an occasional mix up between them, but she is big enough to defend herself so she is ok. Max on the other hand is small and old and can not defend himself and that is the reason we must find a new home for Cruz. He has been a part of our family his whole life, this is not a trained behavior and one that I am ill equipped to change. Cruz minds well and is very smart and would be a great addition to a family that does not have other dogs.
