My name is Grady. Like so many others, I was homeless living on the streets. Life on the streets is an extremely difficult way to live. The lady that brought me here was going to get me vetted and keep me. Once I tested FIV+, she was going to euthanize me! Good heavens, euthanasia is NOT the answer. FIV+ cats can live just as long and healthy of a life as any other cat. I am a big, healthy, happy easy-going guy that gets along well with everyone. What a story. Homeless, to death row, to a loving forever home. That is the stuff movies are made of. FIV positive cats can live a long and happy life. They can also live safely with FIV-negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along.
