About Titus

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Titus is a 4 month old male American pitbull terrier mix puppy who weighs around 27lbs. Titus is housebroken, crate trained and does well with other dogs and dog educated kids. We have not had Titus around cats, so we do not know how he would do with them, but it could be tested if interested. Titus has had a tough start to his early life prior to our organization, as he was found as a stray, wandering the streets with his mom and brother. Then, they were brought to a rural shelter where it was discovered that he had been surviving on garbage due to expelling napkins and foil. Titus is a little skinny and was scared at the shelter, still having issues with loud noises and quick movements. So, we took on this sweet boy (and his mom, see 'Aries') from the shelter after his brother had been adopted so he can gain some extra TLC in our foster care program. Because of Titus' fears, we are looking for a home with middle aged dog educated children that will understand boundaries. Also, we believe that he would do best in a home with another confident personality to teach him how to gain some confidence and reassure that he is safe. Our vet believes that Titus has suffered from an injury that caused him to have a broken jaw at some point in life. He does not seem bothered by this when eating and his teeth align well, so he should not have any future issues. Titus' adoption fee is $300.00 which includes his neuter, microchipping, vaccinations and heartworm/lyme testing.
