About Ellee

Ellee is an approximately 2 yo, 54 lb affectionate and obedient boy. His goal in life is to please his people and he knows how to do it. He has not been around children at our rescue so we recommend respectful teenage children. He listens extremely well, has learned sit and down very fast, and is more on the submissive side. He walks excellent on leash, is potty trained and does well in his crate. Ellee is 100% people oriented and will be happiest as the only dog. He's not a dog park dog. He has attended obedience class with many other dogs (all on leash) and after slight excitement in the beginning completely ignored them and was very calm around them. He had a dog assessment with our trainer and he did well with other large dogs of calm and neutral temperament with slow introductions. Ellee loves affection and snuggles and he'll do anything to receive them. He's a medium energy dog who enjoys his walks, hikes, or any other activity. He rides great in the car. Ellee did have a difficult beginning and has probably never been in a home, so he'll need someone who can go slow, continue and hopefully advance his training, and give him the life he has not been given before. He will need a structured home, with rules and guidance, and someone who can set boundaries; definitely someone who has previous dog experience. If you're renting we will need landlord approval.
